Material and environmental friendliness
Organic cotton is a kind of natural and pollution-free cotton. In agricultural production, organic fertilizers and biological control for pests and diseases are mainly used, and the use of chemical products is prohibited. During its cultivation process, no chemical fertilizers, pesticides or insecticides are used to ensure ecological, green and environmental protection. In contrast, pure cotton does not have these environmental requirements and may use genetically modified seeds and chemical pesticides .
Comfort level
Organic cotton fabric is lustrous, soft to the touch, and has excellent resilience, drape and wear resistance. It also has antibacterial and deodorizing properties, making it particularly suitable for sensitive skin, especially for children and infants. Pure cotton, though soft, is prone to wrinkling, shrinking and deforming, lacks elasticity and is prone to wool sticking .
Price
Due to the high production requirements and low output of organic cotton, its price is usually much higher than that of ordinary pure cotton. Organic cotton may cost between 30 and 100 yuan depending on the count and whether it is colored cotton or not, while plain cotton usually costs under 10 yuan .
